Reports to: Reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing

Principal Area of Responsibility: Energy Focus is seeking an Account Executive to cultivate the commercial growth and financial success through strategic selling and planning.  This candidate will develop and foster customers and consumer value through the sale of EFOI products and services in an effort to grow profitability toward achieving shareholder expectations.

Specific Duties:
• Propose, implement, and continuously improve the Commerical growth Strategy for all Energy Focus EFO products and services customer contact, marketing, press/media coordination, project management.
• Manager speding withing sales volume and expense expectations consistent with the business’ overall business plan.
• Work cross-functionally to contribute to the development of Energy Focus’ business strategies and to identify and exploit opportunities to improve the company’s financial performance.
• Participate in special projects and compile special reports and analyses as required.
• Support product launches to include marketing, selling, press releases
• Conduct appropriate Market analysis and participate in strategic sales planning

Personal Characteristics: The ideal candidate should have 5 or more years of Sales and Marketing experience in lighting environments is required.  Comprehensive knowledge of the lighting industry, customer bases, technology trends is required.  Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written); team player; able to work across organization lines to achieve results; good business skills; analytical and able to solve technical problems.  An undergraduate degree in Business Management or Marketing is required.  An MBA or Graduate Degree in Marketing would be significant competitive advantage.

Physical and Mental Demands: Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed above.  The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines.
