All Eyes were on Energy Focus’ Military Tough Intellitube at DSEI 2015
Last week, Energy Focus took a flight over to London for the DSEI Event. The Defense & Security Equipment International (DSEI) event is the world’s largest land, sea and air defense and security exhibition, which brought together senior international trade and military experts from across the entire supply chain in an exclusive business environment. Energy Focus played a huge role at the defense and security event, educating the crowd about our LED products that recently earned “Military Tough” credibility.
We’d like to thank all who joined us at our booth to get a hands-on look at The Intellitube. The Intellitube, which was the focal point of our booth, is currently installed in 24% of U.S. Navy Ships, including one of the latest retrofits in the USS Gettysburg. Recently, the US Navy gave a video review on the new tubular LEDs installed by Energy Focus, as it has already saved them time and energy, as well as enhanced safety improvements.
When asked about the USS Gettysburg’s latest retrofit, EM3 Danielle Morris said, “The LED lights are definitely more durable, we’ve had fluorescent lights they shatter instantly and with that mercury being the hazardous material inside we don’t want that on board the ship.”
We had a wonderful time meeting new people within the industry and we look forward to joining DSEI for their 2016 event!
