Help Desk Support Specialist – Solon, OH

Overview:

Energy Focus Inc. is looking for a person to participate in Tier 1 support issues from end-users under the supervision and guidance from the IT Administrator.

Responsibilities:

  • Tier 1 end-user suppport
  • PC configuration and deployment of hardware
  • Direct and indirect vendor interaction in support of printers and copiers
  • Tier 1 support for VOIP system including portal interaction
  • Creating, maintaining, and removing user accounts
  • Assist with any additions, moves or changes in network cabling
  • Monitor ticket status in TaskFire
  • Documenting procedures

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience, manufacturing preferred (internships may qualify)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Basic understanding of VOIP technology
  • Knowledge of Cat5/6 cabling
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange is a plus
  • Experience with VMware is a plus
  • MCSE or MCSA certification is a plus
