The Solar Project Manager will assist with the project management for many aspects of the VHESC (Very High Efficiency Solar Conversion) program and coordinate the internal company efforts and all external contractors/subcontractors services on the VHESC projects. This position will work closely with the optics team and act as a voice for Energy Focus to project manage the integration team. The Solar Project Manager will actively manage the market research and IP for the program.. This individual will:

• Project manages the VHESC program by coordinating all engineering, manufacturing, and R&D resources.
• Designs and manages the creation of prototypes including injection molded micro-optical components.
• Conducts market research and sourcing efforts for VHESC projects.

A master’s degree in Engineering or Physics or Optics with a minimum of 10 years of working experience in any industry. Experience should include direct involvement in micro optical manufacturing and assembly, and/or semiconductor-related manufacturing and packaging such as Photovoltaic (PV) and LED devices. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience in prototypes of small optical parts and understand the physics of semiconductors. A background in making products to military specifications is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have experience using project management tools such as FMEA, QFD and multi-generational product development. Solidworks is the preferred CAD tool. This individual will:

The Graphic Designer creates designs, and produces finished artwork that is ready for reproduction by creating, assembling, and drawing, both conventionally and electronically. This position will have creative freedom to work with computer-based drawing, illustration programs and video editing software to assist in marketing efforts by responding to requests for promotional, advertising, graphic and creative assistance. • Use an iMac to create marketing fliers, brochures, advertising, multimedia and other media materials to support the marketing efforts of the company
• Create video clips and movies using iMovie and iVideo to edit and create professional marketing clips to promote Energy Focus.
• Assist sales and executives in marketing campaigns, investors materials, presentations and other graphics work.
• Project manage and coordinate activities with outside marketing vendors such as printing companies, website developers and other marketing venues to ensure timely and correct delivery of all marketing and promotional materials.
